The Santa Fe Saints will be looking for their eighth consecutive win when Hillsborough CC comes to Gainesville Saturday afternoon for a game scheduled to start at 2 pm at the SF gymnasium.
The Saints (8-2) have not lost since November 9th when they were beaten by one point, 77-76, by Gordon State College during a two-day trip to Georgia. SF defeated Hillsborough (6-3) 71-68 in an earlier matchup that took place in Tampa on Nov. 14 with Miles Coleman leading the way for the Saints with 25 points.
"We had a big second half rally to win at HCC," said SF head Coach Chris Mowry, "so they will be ready to play tomorrow. We will need to limit our turnovers and rebound well to be successful."
Coleman presently leads all SF active roster players, averaging 17.9 points per game while John Mason is averaging 10.5 ppg. Admir Besovic is averaging 9.3 ppg and John Mason leads the Saints with 7.1 rebounds per game while Noah Thorp averages 3.5 assist per game followed by Coleman at 3.1 apg.
