The Saints men's basketball team saw multiple players honored for their athletic efforts at the completion of the 2018-19 basketball season as five players were named by the Mid-Florida Conference to All-Conference teams.

The honorees listed for the 2018-19 MFC All-Conference First Team include Admir Besovic (10.9 season points per game, 13.3 conference points per game), Brady Fernandes (14.5 ppg, 16.2 conference ppg) and Ivan Smith (15.7 season ppg, 16.8 conference ppg, 2.7 steals per game). In addition to being the team's leading ppg scorer this season, Smith also received MFC First Team honors for the 2017-18 season. Miles Coleman (12.7 ppg) and John Mason (9.7 ppg) earned spots on the MFC All-Conference Second Team.

Reflecting on the accolades, Saints head coach Chris Mowry discussed each player honored.  "Admir Besovic had a great year for us! He was our best defender, and a strong contributor on the offensive end of the floor. He will be sorely missed next year, but we look forward to following his career at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock."

Mowry continued, "Ivan had an outstanding year as well.  He did a great job running our team, and also scoring for us.  Ivan is undecided on what school he will play for next year, but wherever he lands, they will be getting a very good point guard. Brady also had a super sophomore season. His improved marksmanship from three-point range made him very hard to guard. Whatever school he decides to continue his career at will be getting an outstanding scorer."

"Miles had a very good season for us, carrying us at times in scoring when Ivan and Brady were out due to injury. He has a chance to continue to build on his foundation and be a very good player next year," Mowry explained. "John had a strong sophomore season. He was fifth in scoring and second in rebounding for us. His high skill level made him hard to guard, and his ability to rebound was huge for the team. We look forward to following his career at the four year school he chooses to attend."
