Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #4/NJCAA #16 Santa Fe Saints travel to the College of Central Florida on Thursday, October 23 for the final Mid-Florida Conference match of the season at 7:00 PM.
The MFC title will be on the line when the Saints and Patriots tangle, with SF needing a win to a clinch a co-championship with CF. A Central Florida win would give them the outright title for the fourth year in a row, and SF would finish second.
Should the Saints (26-4, 7-2 MFC) come away with a victory, the two teams would share the title, and the seeding for the FCSAA State Tournament would be determined by the MFC bylaws.
Central Florida (25-6, 8-1 MFC) won the first meeting of the season between the two teams, winning 3-2 in a five set classic in Gainesville on October 7.
For fans unable to attend, the match will be streamed live at www.ihigh.com/collegeofcentralfla
The next home match for the Saints is on Saturday, October 25 against Polk State at 2:00 PM.
