Saints Host "Dig Pink!" Night October 18 for Breast Cancer Awareness
Gainesville, FL – October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and the Santa Fe Saints will host a Dig Pink! Night on October 17 when they host St. John's River State College at 7:00 p.m.  The SF players will wear pink and all fans are also encouraged to wear pink to show support for the brave individuals fighting this disease.
From nationalbreastcancer.org: "One in eight women will develop breast cancer at some point in her life. This statistic affects all women equally. You may have a one in eight chance of developing breast cancer, but so does your doctor…and your hairdresser…and the big-name actress in your favorite movie. Rich or poor, famous or unknown, the disease treats everyone the same." http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/about-breast-cancer
"The Dig Pink® Rally is The Side-Out Foundation's October event that brings together volleyball players across the nation to raise funds for breast cancer research, demonstrate the power of teamwork, and show support for people with the disease. Money raised through Dig Pink® supports Side-Out's game-changing cancer research and programs to develop the whole player."
