Santa Fe Baseball sends 12 players to the next level!

Santa Fe Baseball has sent all 12 Sophomore players from the 2025 season to play at four-year schools.
Of the 12, six players signed with Division I schools, four players signed with a Division II school, and one player signed with each of a Division III and NAIA school. This season marked the 4th year in a row where double digit baseball players will be heading to four-year institutions to continue their academic and baseball careers.
The experience and leadership of this group could be seen all around, as the sophomore class made a significant impact at the plate, on the mound, in the field, and in the classroom. In two seasons, this second year class posted a career 55-48 record with the Saints.
The 2025 Sophomore class comprised of three All-Citrus Conference selections (Nedry, Dejesus, Johns) and one All-FCSAA selection (Nedry).
Off the field, the group had three selected to the 2025 Academic All-District Men's Team College Division (Sorrow, Dejesus, Freeman) as well as the Bill Tuten Award Winner (Sorrow), given to the top FCSAA Baseball scholar-athlete.
Finally, they had three members selected as NJCAA Academic All-Americans (Sorrow, Chappell, Freeman).
