UF Health Ortho Teammate Selection: Madison Howard

Madison Howard is this week's Santa Fe Saints UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Tuesday Teammate of the Week!
Howard concluded her second season with Santa Fe Volleyball this fall. She is a 5'5 Sophomore Libero/DS from Gainesville, Florida where she played at Gainesville High School. Howard intends to major in Nursing and played club at Gainesville Juniors.
Howard played in all twenty-five matches for the Saints this year primarily as their Libero. Her elevated role with the Saints saw growth in all major statistical categories, including 54 service aces while adding 294 digs defensively, leading the team.
As a second-year player for Santa Fe Volleyball, Howard stood out throughout the season as an energetic and thoughtful player both on and off the court. She was noticed by her teammates giving her 110% every day in practice, games, and even off the court with team bonding events and so much more. Howard is someone always uplifting her teammates when they are down and brings a smile wherever she goes.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award. Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value. SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
