Linnea Preston is this week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week!

Preston completed her second season with Santa Fe Volleyball in 2025. The 5'11 Middle Blocker and Opposite Hitter is from Orlando, Florida and played at Horizon High School.

Preston appeared in all but one of the twenty-five matches this season and played a total of 88 sets for the Saints. Through two seasons on the court, Preston totaled 150 Kills and accumulated 232.0 total points for Santa Fe. Defensively, she surpassed 120 career blocks and led the team both solo blocks and block assists in 2025.

Preston is a veteran leader for Santa Fe Volleyball and has stuck out to her teammates and coaches by the way she is always helpful and willing to held a helping hand. She is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy and enjoys bible study, dancing, and cooking in her free time. Preston played club for Winter Park Volleyball Club and was named 2023-24 All-Saints Academic Team, 2023-24 FCSAA Academic All-State and Spring 2025 All-Saints Academic.

UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award.  Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value.  SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
