Taylor Hackett is this week's Tuesday Teammate of the Week!
Hackett just finished her second season with the Santa Fe women's basketball program in 2025-26. She's a 5'5 guard from Tallahassee, Florida, and she graduated from Florida State University High School.
Taylor appeared in 26 games this season for the Saints, averaging 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 65.2 percent from the free throw line. She is also pursuing a health sciences major.
Hackett is a constant positive presence both on and off the court here at Santa Fe. She's highly involved on campus and within the athletic department, most notably as the vice president for the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. In addition, she gave the welcome address and served as the moderator for SF's Sports and More Day seminar back in February. On her off days, she loves reading, shopping, and watching college football with her family and friends.
UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine sponsors a "Teammate of the Week" selection from all five Santa Fe Saints sports teams. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), the SF sport specific coaches, and the athletic director nominate deserving Saints for this weekly award. Teammates of the week will embody the character qualities the SAINTS (Seek, Aware, Integrity, Noble-Minded, Thankful, and Safe) emphasize and value. SF Student-Athletes who impact their team, community, classmates, and families for the better are the best candidates for this weekly award hosted by proud SF partner UF Health Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
