Belle Mancillas named FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week

Belle Mancillas has earned FCSAA Pitcher of the Week honors for her two outings this past week. Mancillas totaled 12.0 innings of work in two games giving up just 4 hits while striking out 14 batters. Mancillas threw a no-hitter for the Saints in game one vs Polk State on Saturday, May 2nd.
The Saints came away with the 8-0 win as Mancillas threw all 6 innings. She walked three but struck out 7 Eagles hitters to give the Saints their 41st win of the season.
"Belle has been the centerpiece of our team this year and consistently one of the best pitchers, in the conference/ country, this award is well deserved for all her hard work" added head coach Savanah Webster.
