Santa Fe splits the day with SCF but drops the series after losing in game one on Thursday.
Santa Fe stayed in it until the end, but dropped the front half of the doubleheader to SCF 6-5.
Santa Fe got on the board in the bottom of the fourth inning after Akhil Nimmala singled down the right field line, Tucker Hansen doubled to left field, and James Suarez hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.
SCF scored two runs in the top of the fifth on a home run to center field to get the Manatees on the board, as another double helped tie the game at five in the top of the sixth. A single in the top of the 7th broke the tie and led to the game-winning run.
Matthew Pagan stepped on the mound first for Santa Fe. The pitcher allowed six hits and five runs over five and one-third innings, striking out three and walking none. Dylan Lovelace took the loss for the Saints. The hurler went one and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out none and walking one. Radloff led things off on the bump for State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. The pitcher allowed six hits and five runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking none.
Nimmala drove the middle of the lineup, leading Santa Fe with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Ryan Chase led Santa Fe Saints with two hits in three at-bats.
Game two went the Saints' way, holding SCF to just two runs in a 5-2 victory.
