Saints Falter at Seminole State
Santa Fe outhit the Raiders 13-8, committed two errors

Santa Fe traveled to Seminole State College of Florida on Thursday, April 23rd, and Seminole State defended their home turf by winning 12-4.
Both teams scored two runs in the first inning. James Suarez opened the game with a leadoff double, and Ryan Chase homered to bring the pair home. The Raiders responded with a leadoff double of their own and a home run in the bottom of the first.
The Saints took a 3-2 lead in the top of the second with a Suarez single to score Hayden Montanez, and extended their lead to 4-2 in the top of the fourth with a Shawn Andrade RBI ground out that scored Tucker Hansen.
Seminole State scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 7-4 lead. The Raiders drew three consecutive walks to load the bases and scored on a wild pitch, hit a single to tie the game 4-4, and hit a three-run homer to take the lead.
Down 9-4 in the top of the eighth, Hansen and Montanez hit back-to-back singles, but the inning ended with three consecutive outs.
The Raiders ended the game with three runs in the bottom of the eighth with a sacrifice pop out and a two-run homer to give them the win 12-4.
The Saints will host Seminole State College of Florida on Saturday, April 25th for their season finale. The teams will play a doubleheader with the games starting at 12:00pm and 3:00pm.
