Dylan Lovelace signs to continue his career at the University of New Orleans

Dylan Lovelace has committed to the University of New Orleans to continue his athletic and academic journey. Lovelace is from Union County, FL and spent time at Fort White High and Santa Fe High Schools. Lovelace appeared in 35 games as a relief pitcher with Santa Fe, and aspires to major in Business Administration.
Lovelace was a trusted option within the bullpen during his time with the Saints. He saw action both as a relief pitcher and as a closer, pitching 54.1 innings during his career and earning three saves. Lovelace further totaled 46 strikeouts, earning a career-high 5 strikeouts in 3 innings of work against Daytona State College where he allowed no earned runs.
In the classroom, Lovelace was a consistent and accomplished academic. He earned three All-Saints Academic Team nods, and was awarded with an FCSAA Academic All-State award in the 2024-25 school year.
Lovelace will look to contribute to a University of New Orleans baseball team that went 24-30 in the 2026. The Privateers often found themselves in high-scoring games, adding Lovelace can be a key part to keep them on the right track for the next couple of years.
