After two seasons at Santa Fe College, Wyatt Tesar will be making the move to Barry University to continue his academic and athletic career. Tesar is an infielder from Naples, FL, bringing his talents from St. John Neumann Catholic High School to play in Gainesville for the Saints.

After a solid showing as a freshman, Tesar took a big leap in 2026. Tesar increased his .283 average from his freshman year to .377, and increased his on-base percentage from .361 to .449. Tesar was stellar on defense as well, recording a .962 fielding percentage with just 2 errors in the entire season. He proved to be both a valuable bat and glove who copuld not be kept out of the lineup.

In the classroom, Tesar carried his standout academic success from high school into college. Tesar was honored with three All-Saints Academic Team awards, as well as receiving an FCSAA Academic All-State award for his efforts in the classroom. 

For the upcoming season, Tesar will be heading to Miami, FL to join Barry University's baseball team under head coach DJ Price. Bringing his experience, his talents batting, and his consistent fielding, Tesar will look to be a sure fit as a member of the Buccaneers.
