Bio
Coach Felts joins the Santa Fe staff for 2026, coaching the outfielders, assisting with the offense, and serving as 1st base coach. For the previous two seasons, 2024-2025, he held the same role at Division II Augusta University of the Peach Belt Conference, reaching the conference tournament in each of those two seasons. He also served as head coach of the Complete Game Collegiate Team in the summer of 2024. Prior to coaching collegiately, Coach Felts began his career as the hitting coach and 1st base coach at his high school, McDonogh School (MD) for 2 seasons from 2022-2023. In 2023, the Eagles won the MIAA B Conference Championship.
As a player, Coach Felts attended Washington College (MD) as an outfielder and corner infielder from 2015-2019, playing LF, RF, 3B, 1B, and 2B over his 4 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Towson University in 2022.
