Farmer Headed to West Palm Beach to Play for Keiser University
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Forward Brandon Farmer of Santa Fe College Men's Basketball has made a commitment to attend Keiser University to play for the Seahawks in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Farmer is from Leesburg, Florida and prior to SF, he attended The Villages and Florida Gateway College.
2021-2022 was his first season with the Saints, and he made an immediate impact. Farmer played in 27 games, starting in 21. He averaged 10.6 points and a team-high 6.4 rebounds per game while shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Farmer poured in a season-high 25 points in the Central Conference clinching win at Polk State in the final game of the regular season. His play helped him receive First Team All-Central Conference recognition.
Keiser Men's Basketball is coached by Marcus "Chief" Bryant, and the team finished 2021-2022 with a record of 12-16 overall and 6-10 in The Sun Conference of the NAIA.
Farmer is now the second men's basketball commitment to be announced so far on santafesaints.com.
Santa Fe's 2021-2022 season went down as one of the program's best, and concluded with a 24-6 mark overall, a Central Conference Championship, and an appearance at the FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII State Tournament.
