Saints win big in New Port Richey
Santa Fe visited Pasco-Hernando State College for their first road game of the season and came away with the win
New Port Richey, FL
Santa Fe (2-0) hit the road and headed to play Pasco-Hernando State College for their first road contest of the year. Santa Fe came up victorious over the Bobcats 90-63.
Three Saints finished the game in double figures, with Alex Pierre-Louis and Tre Dubois each with 18 and Jermichael Johnson adding 10 points in the win.
"We knew Pasco was going to pressure us and for the most part I thought we attacked it well. We got loose with the ball in spots and that kept the game close" Head Coach John Ritzdorf added. "Alex (Pierre-Louis) and Jermichael (Johnson) really turned the game in the first half with their energy and effort. They got on the floor for loose balls and really got us going."
Harvey Wilson notched his first double-digit rebound performance with 8 points and 10 rebounds while Guy Twitty cleaned the glass with seven of his own. Moses Horne added 8 assists as well.
The Saints return home on Monday, November 10th vs Florida Gateway College at 6:00pm. The first 50 fans in attendance will receive a free Zaxbys Chicken Sandwich!
