Santa Fe Men's Basketball improves to 3-0 on the year with a 95-85 victory over Florida Gateway College after a Monday night matchup in Gainesville.
The Saints (3-0) used a strong first half to secure a 10 point win vs Florida Gateway (2-3) to keep away from the loss column for 2025-26.
Led by Tre Dubois 26 point performance, Santa Fe used their early lead to stifle the Wolves furious second half comeback. Up by as many as 24 points, Florida Gateway clawed back to within seven points at 88-81 with a minute to go, but that lead proved to be too much as the Saints came away with a 10-point victory.
Four Saints had double-digit points; Jermichael Johnson with 15 points while Alex Pierre-Louis and Jahari Simmons with 11 each as well.
The Saints hit the road to face Tallahassee State College at 6:00 on Wednesday, November 12th. They return home to face The Potters House on Saturday, November 15th at 4:00.
