Titans Handle Saints with Strong Second Half
Tied 36-36 at halftime, Eastern Florida outscored Santa Fe 44-31 in the second half

Santa Fe (17-7, 6-5) traveled to Melbourne on Wednesday, February 11th and lost 80-67 to the Eastern Florida Titans (19-6, 8-3).
Palmer Walton made a three on the first possession of the game, and a three by Joel Harrison and a pair of free throws by Walton gave the Saints an early 12-7 lead. An offensive rebound and putback by Cornelius White extended the lead to 19-10. The Titans cut their deficit to 26-22 with a steal and fastbreak slam dunk, and they took their first lead at 30-29 with a second-chance putback. Alex Pierre-Louis regained the lead 34-32 with a fadeaway and a three on consecutive possessions. The Saints fell behind 36-34, but a long two by Pierre-Louis tied the game 36-36, leading to a tie game at the half.
Three layups by Harvey Wilson gave the Saints a 42-40 lead to start the second half, but an and-1 gave the Titans a 43-42 lead. The Titans extended their lead to 51-44 with a three, and a three by Moses Horne cut their lead to 54-50. The Titans took a double-digit lead at 64-54, but a stepback midrange shot by Harrison cut their lead to 65-61. The Titans proceeded to go on a 6-0 run to take another double-digit lead at 71-61.
Sean Register Jr. had 30 points on 11/12 shooting for the Titans. Harvey Wilson and Alex Pierre-Louis led the Saints with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
The Saints will return to action next Wednesday, February 18th when they host Hillsborough Community College at 7:00pm.
