Conference-Leading Bucs Handle Saints
Bucs were up three at halftime, pulled away late to secure their 15-point win

Santa Fe traveled to Florida SouthWestern State College on Wednesday, February 25th and
Palmer Walton capitalized on an offensive rebound by Moses Horne and an assist by Joel Harrison with a three to give the Saints a 3-0 lead to start the game. The Bucs missed a pair of free throws and Horne made a long two to extend the Saints' lead to 11-4. After the Bucs tied the game 15-15, Harvey Wilson made a three to put the Saints up 18-15. The Bucs took their first lead 22-20 with a three after a Saints offensive foul. The Saints regained the lead 32-31 with a three by Horne, but the Bucs answered back right away with a three of their own to take a 34-32 lead. The Bucs made a three before the buzzer to take a 37-34 lead at halftime.
After falling behind by nine points in the second half, two threes by Walton and a three by Horne put the Saints' deficit at 49-47. A Bucs and-1 gave them a 59-49 lead, and the Bucs held on to win 85-70.
Moses Horne and Palmer Walton both led the Saints with 16 points, and Harvey Wilson led the Saints with 10 rebounds.
Kenyon Giles led the Bucs with 26 points and seven threes.
"FSW really shot the ball well tonight. I dont think we guarded poorly and we fought on the glass much better than we did in game 1, but their guards really shot it well from 3 tonight and we couldn't keep up with that" adds John Ritzdorf.
The Saints will travel to Indian River State College on Saturday, February 28th at 2:00pm before returning home on Monday, March 2nd to face St. Petersburg College at 7:00pm in the season finale.
