TIFTON, Ga. – Santa Fe Softball extended its winning streak to seven games with a 1-0 win at Abraham Baldwin College in Game 1, but then the hosts salvaged a split with the Saints by coming back in the seventh frame of Game 2 to win 4-3.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY

With two outs in the top half of the seventh inning, Madi Hewett broke the scoreless tie by driving in Sydney Fowler with an RBI single to left field.

The run was all Kensley Durrance needed to pick up her sixth consecutive complete game win.

TEAM COMPARISON

Santa Fe had seven hits to ABAC's four, but neither team had an extra-base hit in the pitcher's duel.

The lone error of the matchup was scored to the Saints.

A GAME-CHANGING PLAY

The Saints went into the bottom of the seventh inning with a three-run lead, but things unraveled, and ABAC strung together the three runs needed to complete the comeback.

TEAM COMPARISON

Once again, there were no extra base hits. Each team produced five hits in Game 2.

There were five errors in the game, three for the Saints and two for the Fillies.

ABAC got on the base paths with six walks, while the Saints earned three free-passes.
