Santa Fe Softball notches another week at #6 in the nation in this week's NJCAA DI Softball Rankings from the national office. This is the 11th consecutive week the Saints find themselves within the Top-10. 

Santa Fe went 3-1 last week as they split the doubleheader on the road with #18 Seminole State (now #17th) and swept Polk State in two shutouts (8-0 and 9-0) in 11 total innings. The Saints will play their final home games of the regular season on Tuesday, May 5th vs #11 Eastern Florida who rose one spot in this week's poll.

The FCSAA remains strong as they lead all regions with 8 schools of the Top-25 coming from Region 8.

The Saints still sit second in Citrus Conference play with a 27-11 record. Sophomore McKenzie Cox sits 4th in the state with 16 home runs and is top-20 nationally in RBI's (69), total bases (148), and stolen bases (36). Belle Mancillas had another great week in the circle, capped off by a 6-inning no-hitter vs Polk State on Saturday. She struck out 7 Eagles hitters in the process.

This week marks the final week of the NJCAA DI rankings. The Saints will enter the postseason beginning with the FCSAA DI State Tournament held at the Eddie C. Moore complex in Clearwater, Florida beginning on May 12th.
