Belle Mancillas signs to continue her career at Florida Atlantic University

Belle Mancillas will be heading to Boca Raton, Florida in the fall to continue her academic and athletic careers at Florida Atlantic University. The 5'9 pitcher from Frostproof, Florida spent the last two seasons at Santa Fe where she excelled both academically and athletically.
Mancillas became the go-to arm in the circle for Santa Fe in 2026, throwing 197.1 total innings for the Saints. Her 1.56 ERA helped the Saints to a 48-17 record and their first NJCAA DI Softball World Series appearance since the 2013 season. She struck out 172 batters and kept a WHIP of 1.20 after facing 868 hitters in 2026.
This season alone, Mancillas was named an NJCAA Second Team All-American, First Team All-FCSAA, First Team All-Citrus North, Citrus North Pitcher of the Year, and was the FCSAA Pitcher of the Week during the final week of the regular season. She has been named to numerous All-Academic lists including 2024/25 and 2025/26 All-Saints Academic as well as 2024/25 FCSAA Academic All-State.
She will be joining the Owls who went 34-20 including 14-13 in AAC play this season. They were the #4 seed in the American Conference Tournament where they dropped in the semifinals. Mancillas will be adding to a strong FAU pitching staff as they look for their first postseason appearance since 2025.
