Saints take down the Titans
Santa Fe uses big third quarter to earn their first conference win of the year

Santa Fe (3-6) hosted Eastern Florida (4-7) on Wednesday Night for their third conference game of the year for a 5:00 tipoff.
Both teams are battling injuries and had limited players available but the Saints were able to use a big third quarter to put the Titans away.
Santa Fe held a two point edge over the Titans after the first quarter after it was an early offensive battle. The second quarter was a much different style of play, with great defense from both teams. Santa Fe trailed Eastern Florida at the half 22-26 after the Titans hit a buzzer beater 3 pointer at the horn.
Santa Fe then exploded with a 29-point third quarter, beginning with a 9-0 run forcing the Titans to take a timeout. The Santa Fe defense was excellent in the third quarter, limiting the Titans to just five points. Santa Fe was then able to hold off the Titans comeback attempt and cruised towards a nineteen point victory for their third win of the season.
Aniyah Anderson led the Saints with 21 points, as Zion McRae and Lorianys Castanon Cruz added 16 and 11 to round out the three Saints in double figures.
The win serves at Head Coach David Lowery's first confernece win, with the Saints taking their (1-2) conference record on the road to play at Miami Dade College on Saturday, December 20th at 2:00pm.
