Aniyah Anderson signs to Saint Leo University

Aniyah Anderson will be continuing her women's basketball career at the next level at Saint Leo University next season. Anderson will remain in the state of Florida after moving from Mobile, AL to play for Santa Fe. Academically, she intends to pursue dermatology as her major.
Anderson earned a strong reputation as a scorer, rebounder, and defender during her 53-game career with the Saints. Starting in 51 games, Anderson scored 516 points, grabbed 314 rebounds, while adding 75 assists. Not only was she effective on the offensive side of the court, she notched 100 steals and 18 blocks. In her sophomore season, Anderson posted two career-high games of 21 points, both against Eastern Florida State College.
For her athletic and academic achievements, Anderson earned a plethora of honors in her two years. Anderson is a two-time All-Citrus Conference Second Team player and was named FSCAA Academic All-State in 2025. In all four semesters with Santa Fe, she was recognized with All-Saints Academic Team honors.
Anderson will be bringing her talents to a Saint Leo team that will look for offensive production in 2026-27. Anderson will have an opportunity out of the gate to earn a key role as they continue to progress under second-year head coach Charles Marshall.
