Bio
Jazlynd Rollins begins her first season at Santa Fe College with six years of coaching experience and a strong background in competitive basketball. She most recently served as the head coach at Gainesville High School, where she led the program for three seasons and guided the team to the state championship finals for the first time in 38 years. Coach Rollins emphasizes education, basketball fundamentals, and high basketball IQ, viewing the game as a platform for growth both on the court and in life.
A graduate of Buchholz High School, Rollins was a high school state champion, setting the foundation for her basketball career. She went on to play at Jacksonville University, Daytona State College, and Rutgers University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree while competing at the collegiate level.
Giving back to the game drives Coach Rollins’ approach to coaching. Over the past six years, she has worked closely with student-athletes to build strong fundamentals, confidence, and discipline. She is passionate about player development and creating an environment that challenges athletes to become their best selves.
