Gainesville, FL – For the second match in a row, the Santa Fe Saints went on the road and made quick work of their Mid-Florida Conference opponent, defeating Florida State College-Jacksonville 25-13, 25-18, 25-18 to improve their record to 11-7 overall and 2-2 in the MFC.

Nadine Williams finished with a double double to lead the way, picking up 11 kills to go with 10 digs.  The other difference makers came at the net.  Sterling Williamson had a match high eight blocks, and Tina Mayberry had four.

"When we block well, we can dictate a match," said SF Coach Nick Cheronis.  That's what happened tonight.  But make no mistake, that is a very good team we beat."

The Saints will take their two game MFC winning stream into a home match with St. John's River State College on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM.  For fans who cant attend, it will be streamed live on the Saints Sports Network.
