Saints Season Comes to an End with 3-1 Loss to HCC
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints left it all on the court Saturday afternoon, but came up short against Hillsborough CC, falling in four sets to the Hawks 14-25, 25-23, 25-27, 23-25. The loss ends Santa Fe’s season.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints left it all on the court Saturday afternoon, but came up short against Hillsborough CC, falling in four sets to the Hawks 14-25, 25-23, 25-27, 23-25. The loss ends Santa Fe's season.
After a slow first set the Saints played HCC tough, defeating the Hawks in the second set by two points. Hillsborough bounced back in the third after being pushed to the brink by SF, and finished off the match with another close two point win in the fourth set.
Santa Fe finishes the 2017 season with a 12-17 record and tied for fifth at the FCSAA Tournament with the College of Central Florida, a team they beat in the first round. The two Saints losses came to nationally ranked teams.
