Titans Prevail in 12 Innings
Bases-loaded triple lifts St. Petersburg past Santa Fe

Santa Fe (18-22, 7-18) hosted St. Petersburg College (15-24, 8-17) on Thursday, April 9th and lost 7-3 in 12 innings.
An error followed by a pair of singles gave the Titans a 2-0 lead in the top of the second.
James Suarez drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the third and scored from a single by Cole Carnell. A Maddox Lee singled scored Ryan Chase, and a Shawn Andrade sacrifice fly scored Carnell, giving the Saints the lead 3-2.
St. Petersburg hit a two-out solo home run in the top of the eighth to tie the game 3-3.
The Saints were unable to capitalize on a leadoff triple by Samuel Castillo in the bottom of the eighth.
Santa Fe was also unable to capitalize on a leadoff single in the bottom of the ninth by Chase.
Lee and Castillo drew walks in the bottom of the 10th, but the Saints were unable to score.
Wyatt Tesar drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the 11th, but the Saints popped out, lined out, and popped out again to extend the game.
The Titans drew a leadoff walk and hit a pair of singles to load the bases in the top of the 12th with no outs. A triple followed by a single allowed the Titans to score four runs and take the lead 7-3.
Andrade reached on an error and Tucker Hansen drew a walk in the bottom of the 12th, but the Titans ended the game and won 7-3 with a fielder's choice.
Ryan Chase led the team with three hits and Samuel Castillo led the team with three walks. The Saints drew 11 walks, recorded nine hits, and stole four bases.
The Saints will travel to St. Petersburg on Saturday, April 11th for a doubleheader starting at 12:00pm.
