Titans beat Saints in three sets
Santa Fe hosted the #16 Eastern Florida State College Titans for a conference matchup in Gainesville, Florida on Wednesday night.

The Saints returned home for a match against the #16 Eastern Florida State College Titans after traveling to St. Johns River State College on Monday, September 22nd.
The Titans jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the first set. Blocks by Linnea Preston and Selena Placide cut the deficit to 9-7, but the Titans were able to extend their lead to 20-10. The Titans held on to win the first set 25-11.
Preston added two more blocks in the beginning of the second set, and the Saints tied the set 4-4. An ace by Emmy Rowland kept the set tied 10-10, but the Titans then took a 15-11 lead. The Titans won the second set 25-20.
Eastern Florida took a 5-0 lead in the third set and extended their lead to 12-3. Kills by Kailyn Howard, Emily Geaquinto, and Selena Placide set the score to 16-12 (Titans). The comeback fell short, as the Titans won the third and final set 25-16.
Santa Fe will travel to Hillsborough Community College on Saturday, September 27th at 2:00pm.
